    FREDBRIM

Under the name of Fredbrim two efficient drugs are brought together, Brimonidine Tartrate and Timolol Maleate. Both are efficient separately in decreasing the ocular pressure but brimonidine tartrate drains the aqueous humour is an added advantage.

    FREDCMC

FREDCMC consists of Carboxy Methyl Cellulose, which is an anionic cellulose polymer with a carboxyl group substitution, and exhibits good bio adhesive characteristics. The anionic nature of CMC may be beneficial in increasing tear retention time. FREDCMC has shown to be effective in the treatment of aqueous tear-deficient dry eye symptoms and ocular surface staining. The viscous and mucoadhesive properties as well as its anionic charge allow prolonged retention time in the ocular surface.

    FREDGEL

FREDGEL Eye Drop is a lubricant in nonvolatile eye drops (artificial tears) that uses the sodium salt of Carboxy Methyl Cellulose as its main constituent to provide lubrication to the eye. Being in gel form, FREDGEL Eye Drops retain eye’s moisture content for a longer period of time and achieve prolonged residence time on the ocular surface. It has been shown to be efficacious in the treatment of aqueous tear-deficient dry eye symptoms. It is generally understood that it is the physical properties of Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose, such as its viscosity and mucoadhesive properties, contributing to its prolonged retention time in the ocular surface.

    FREDMOX-D

MOXIFLOXIN, in FREDMOX-D works as an anti-bacterial agent Floro-Quinolones exert their antibacterial effect by preventing bacterial DNA from unwinding and duplicating. Moxifloxacin hydrochloride is a synthetic 8-methoxyfluoroquinolone with a broad spectrum anti-bacterial effect on gram positive, gram negative and other anaerobic micro-organism. Well tolerated with minimal ocular side effects and provides increased penetration into ocular tissues and fluids with improved activity against Streptococci and Staphylococci species. It has a moderate to excellent activity against clinically relevant, gram-negative ocular pathogens.

    HYFRED

Sodium hyaluronate is a derivative of hyaluronic acid and shares many of its beneficial properties. Sodium hyaluronate is a humectant, lubricant, and hypo-osmotic. It is found naturally in the eye where it is produced as a response to ocular surface damage. This hydrophilic polymer plays an important role in corneal wound healing as it promotes corneal epithelial repair and helps control localized inflammation. Sodium hyaluronate is also a lubricant with flow and deformation characteristics similar to those of the tear aqueous layer. Additionally, it reduces mucous strands in tears and is better at lowering tear osmolarity than glycerin.
